| Cyberlucia Internet Bar.
Alhaurin el Grande. Their story John and Tricia Pike are from Aunsby in Lincolnshire and had never undertaken anything like this before. This was a major career change for them but they are now settling in well. They had talked about moving to Spain for a long time and finally came to Fiesta Property in February 2004. After examining many bars, they decided to look inland a little. Mainly because of Tricia's love of horses and her intention to keep horses in Spain. They needed to buy a country home with space for the animals so a business in the country would be perfect. Good businesses away from the coast do exist but are difficult to find and you have to be very brave to jump straight in. Their lack of the Spanish language is a little disability but is easily overcome. Alhaurin has a great English community and this particular business does well from English residents. Their offer on the business was accepted and everything was set in motion to complete 30 days later. They were also fortunate to find an exceptional country property to rent, close to the business. The sale however was not without problems. Within a couple of weeks Tricia and John have fitted into the local community and have been accepted by the locals and the Spanish. The type of business that they run offers a great service to the community; something that the local council value. Call in and see them at any time, they always welcome new visitors and are happy to talk about their experiences with Fiesta Property and buying a bar in Spain. Find them on the main shopping street.
