| The George.
Benalmadena Christine and Jim come from Dublin where they ran a large guesthouse up until November 2004. Through the guesthouse they gained a great amount of experience in the hospitality trade but had never managed a bar, let alone in Spain. They had discussed the possibility of a bar in Spain for a long time and were fed up with the long hours and grey weather in Dublin. It was only recently they decided to sell up in Ireland and make the move. So far, they have no regrets. Along with their son, within the first few weeks they have already made many friends and the bar is proving to be busy, despite the fact that it is the quietest time of year. Christine and Jim put all their trust in Fiesta Property and they have now become our close friends. Their sale went smoothly, as did the takeover period. Other than a few minor setbacks such as having to find the right suppliers, have Sky TV fitted and get used to the Spanish way of doing things, everything has been perfect. Located on the Avda del Mar which runs from the main road to the port in Benalmadena, the George is a great place to call in for a meal or even just a drink, day or night.
