Jill and John Venners called Fiesta Property from the UK, very late one evening and explained that they had decided to buy a bar in Spain but knew very little on how to do it.

We soon had them settled into their new life.

Their story
Jill and John arrived in December 2004 for a few days inspection visit with Fiesta Property. After an initial meeting and viewing a dozen starter bars, they decided on the bar in Fuengirola Port, now re-named 'Gordies'.

The headed back to Newcastle to tie up all the loose ends, leaving Fiesta Property to handle the purchase of the bar and the rental of an apartment. 30 days later, after a hectic drive from England, they arrived with their two daughters and two dogs. John is a great guy to talk to if you want first hand experience of driving to Spain.

The purchase of the bar went without any problems whatsoever and after a few days cleaning up and making a few minor improvements, they were open and trading.

They coped with the suppliers with ease and soon found the best and the cheapest to use.

This great little bar is a nice place to sit, especially in the morning sun. Jill cooks great food and is always happy to talk to customers. This is the kind of bar that you will return to.

Jill found it very difficult to settle in Spain, away from her family and as a result, Jill approached Fiesta Property to re-sell the bar. Within 4 weeks, we managed to find a buyer for the bar and Jill and John managed to re-coup their money from the bar. This proves that Fiesta Property gave them the right advice when buying;


Don't over commit yourselves
