Nigel and Ann Humphries took this lovely little bar over in February 2004 and have settled in perfectly.

Their story
From Birmingham, Nigel and Ann had thought about Spain for a long time and came to Fiesta property in January 2004. Eventually they decided on this bar on Fuengirola Port and have totally redecorated inside and out, ready for the start of the season in April. Nigel and Ann were under no illusions about the hard work and long hours of running a bar in Spain. They were however looking for a total lifestyle change and quality freetime in which to enjoy their motorbikes.

Fiesta Property introduced them to a residential agent who found them a quality apartment to rent, a short drive from Fuengirola.

Nigel and Ann have decorated the bar and now present a popular place to stop for a drink, in a nice, clean environment. It is their intention to provide quality snack foods at great prices.

The enterprising couple are happy to talk about their experiences in buying a bar and will be happy to give advice to anyone considering the same.

Nigel struggled at first to accept the typical 'Mañana Syndrome' that Spain is famous for. He now accepts the Spanish way of life and nothing is rushed.
